How to Apply

All applicants must complete a Wave Transit Application for Employment. Hard copy applications are available at Forden Station (505 Cando St. Wilmington, NC). Resumes will not be accepted without an application. Applications will be kept on file for a period of not less than six (6) months. Please submit applications and resumes to hr@wavetransit.com if indicated in the position listing and fill out the embedded form.

No CDL? No Problem.

Requirements

Most positions with Wave Transit or its contractors are classified as safety sensitive and are subject to all FTA requirements for safety sensitive positions including: pre-employment, random, post accident, reasonable suspicion and return to work drug and alcohol screening.
Fixed-route operators and maintenance personnel are required to have a valid Class B Commercial Driver License with a Passenger (P) endorsement issued by the state of North Carolina.
