Elimination of Route 204 Brunswick Connector

Notice is hereby given that the Cape Fear Public Transportation Authority will hold two public hearings on Wednesday the 22nd of July at 6:15 pm and on the 23rd day of July at 12:30 pm at the Wave Transit Operations Center located at 1480 Castle Hayne Rd., Wilmington, NC 28401, for the purpose of receiving public input regarding the following:

ELIMINATION OF ROUTE 204 BRUNSWICK CONNECTOR

At the hearing, the Authority will afford an opportunity for interested persons to be heard with respect to the cancellation of fixed-route bus service and accessible van service through the Dial a Ride Transportation (DART) Program to Northern Brunswick County, Town of Leland and Town of Navassa.

Members of the public unable to attend the meeting in person will have an opportunity to do so remotely. More information regarding remote access to the public hearing(s) can be obtained by phone: (910) 343-0106 or via e-mail: wavetransit@wavetransit.com. Return trip transportation will be provided to members of the public who traveled on Route 204 to the 6:15 pm meeting on Wednesday, July 22nd. The above noted service cancellation would be implemented on Tuesday the 8th of September with the last day of service occurring Friday the 4th of September. The Authority will be closed on Monday the 7th day of September in observance of the Labor Day holiday.
