To be considered for the position of bus operator or maintenance personnel, all applicants must complete a Wave Transit Application for Employment. Requirements
Most positions with Wave Transit or its contractors are classified as safety sensitive and are subject to all FTA requirements for safety sensitive positions including: pre-employment, random, post accident, reasonable suspicion and return to work drug and alcohol screening.
Operators and maintenance personnel are required to have a valid Class B Commercial Driver License with a Passenger (P) endorsement issued by the state of North Carolina.
Applications will be kept on file for a period of not less than six (6) months.
