How to Apply
To be considered for the position of bus operator or maintenance personnel, all applicants must complete a Wave Employment Application. Applications may be picked up at either Wave Transit office located at 1110 Castle Street, Wilmington, NC 28401 or 190 Division Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401. Résumés will be accepted for administrative positions without an application. Submit applications and/or résumés to the following:

Requirements
Most positions with Wave Transit or its contractors are classified as safety sensitive and are subject to all FTA requirements for safety sensitive positions including: pre-employment, random, post accident, reasonable suspicion and return to work drug and alcohol screening.
Operators and maintenance personnel are required to have a valid Class B Commercial Driver License with a Passenger (P) endorsement issued by the state of North Carolina.
Applications will be kept on file for a period of not less than six (6) months.
